Chain Saw Mill

When butts are too large to go straight onto the bandsaw we use a chainsaw mill to complete the initial breakdown of the timber. Although it looks quite crude it is suprisingly swift and accurate. This method is also excellent for cutting large slabs that are often used for sculpture, or garden furniture. Click on the link below to view a gallery of timbers we have tackled.
